"We have been working with R-Wall for several years and have been fortunate to win several awards for projects using their system, including the Build It Award for Best ICF System. The majority of the projects we now design use R-Wall, including our own new office. Simplifying airtightness, eliminating cold bridges at critical junctions, and providing
closed cell waterproof insulation are all key attributes of the system. We want a robust method of construction that will stand the test of time, while reducing processes and improving productivity on site. "I had never used this type of system before, always traditional builds . Couldn’t see why people were going for it, Then I had a client that had done their research and was set on using ICF. I’m just about to pour my last pour of a huge build . It’s been so easy . Great product so much support from R-Wall, on the phone , site visits, even help you pour. I think it’s quicker than traditional, Your not weather dependant, And you don’t need as many men or as many skilled men. I would prefer this method over traditional now!"

"Our self-build in Kent, we wanted a super efficient and light material to build our last house in rural Kent. The brief was looking old but performing like a modern house. Our builder, a carpenter has loved working with the material, there is little waste and Lisa and Matt have been super helpful with the challenges of building the roundel. R wall is lightweight too, and as a self build we wanted something we could build ourselves without breaking our backs, this fits the bill! The only question we ask ourselves, is why aren’t all houses built out of R-Wall."

"I can’t believe how quickly our extension has gone up using the R-Wall system, or how impressive the finished structure already is. We first discussed building our 8m x 8m extension with SJ Chimneys, who were installing our wood-burning stove, and they recommended the R-Wall system. Once the foundations and block-and-beam floor had been completed, Jack installed the R-Wall structure in just two days, with the concrete being pumped in on the third day. He then spent several days installing drainage and constructing a retaining wall for our patio before moving on to the roofing work. At the same time, our old flat roof was replaced. We also had a large roof lantern installed, together with two skylights and a highly insulated warm roof finished with a rubber membrane. The entire project has taken just three weeks so far, with one person carrying out all of the work. We are now at first-fix stage, with the glazing due to be fitted by a local company and the remaining trades scheduled to start over the next few days. Even before the windows have been installed, the house already feels noticeably warmer and far less draughty. We are extremely pleased with both the speed of construction and the quality of the R-Wall system."

"The ICF system that has been engineered was so perfect to our project and situation - more than manageable to do by yourself as a lone constructionist, and extremely quick if you have more hands available. We built throughout the winter, and because of the material's impervious nature to moisture, we were not hindered at all by the elements.

Perhaps even more than the suitability of the system to our needs, the level of support from the R-Wall team were second to none. I never expected to have such a direct and communicative quality of instruction throughout the process, at every stage. If there was ever a query, Matt and Greg were always on hand at the earliest point to help the project move forward.
