About R-WALL

R-WALL is a UK-designed and manufactured Insulated Concrete Formwork system, with our head office located near Bude on the Devon–Cornwall border.

The family-run business was founded by Matt Trewin (Director, CEO), a builder by trade, and Lisa Trewin (Director CEO), an environmental scientist. Their shared goal was simple: to create a better way to build.

The idea for R-WALL was born during the construction of their own home. Emulating the current government 'White paper' they set out to develop a system that would deliver faster build times, improved energy efficiency, reduced reliance on skilled labour, and a significantly lower carbon footprint. Since its release in 2020, the system has seen rapid adoption within the building profession.

Designed to meet current regulations and future-proofed for forthcoming standards, R-WALL represents a modern approach to building—without compromise.

R-WALL is totally UK based and designed for the UK market. By keeping production local, we minimise our carbon footprint while maintaining consistently high product standards and a reliable supply chain.

Since launch, R-WALL has seen rapid, organic growth. While many early projects were based in the South West, adoption has quickly expanded nationwide, with completed builds ranging from individual homes to five-storey residential developments in London. This growth has been driven almost entirely by industry recommendation and word of mouth. Customer support is central to everything we do. We provide tailored training and on-site support.

We are also proud to work alongside some of the UK’s leading construction professionals. Architects, engineers, building inspectors, and warranty providers have all chosen to build their own homes using R-WALL—a level of confidence that speaks for itself.
