Reduce thermal bridging

R-Wall has zero cold bridging, but in order to reduce cold bridging from the slab Trewin architects have asked us to incorporate these blocks within the system that are designed to sit at the base of walls. A modular ICF system would find it difficult to accommodate this into the core as their webbing runs vertically instead of horizontally. Cold bridging can reduce the energy efficiency of a home and create unhealthy living environments.
