R-WALL home is the first in the country to be awarded the AECB Carbon Lite plaque!

Just before Christmas this beautiful R-Wall self build was the first in the country to be awarded the AECB Carbon lite certification and plaque. The build achieved Passivehaus standards. In the words Dan Stewart the architect who owns and built this house "We are now even more efficient than Passivhaus predicted" this was achieved by using our 150mm/150mm R-Floor under slab system and our superior 150mm (100mm internal-150mm external system to achieve a U-Value of 0.11) for the walls. Well done to "ala architecture" for designing such a stunning and energy efficient home!
